Church Website Ministry:

  • A Pastor’s Comment: I want to take a moment and say that I am very grateful for the technology that is available to us today. As the Pastor of a small Church, Wilson Ave Baptist in Aurora, MO, we are limited in what we are able to do. But, through the assistance of Bro Bob Hoffman, who is a Missionary to Cyberspace, we have had a website up and running for 11 months and in that time we have been able to reach 16 countries and have had over 1000 contact to our site. Only God knows the effects of this and how many lives have been touched. But, through this we are able to literally reach around the world. Please pray that we will continue to reach more and more for the Glory of God. If your Church needs help getting started, please contact Bro Bob Hoffman at cyber-missions.com.
  • Back in July of 2021 Missionary Joseph Childers (Missionary to Grenada) approached me. He has been on the mission field for five years now. Joseph had a website up. He loved the design, but in order to be a good steward he wanted to move the website to a less expensive host. They regularly update their praises and prayer requests, and keep all their prayer letters up on the website. He also had an email account he used with the website. Brother Childers had looked into moving it before, but was told that because of its underlying platform it would need to be recreated. I was able to take the content he had and created a similar website using WordPress. We still had the issue of the domain he had (childers2grenada.org). The current host he had did not give any access to the DNS records, and the domain was registered in the name of the provider. I lost contact with Brother Joseph, who then reestablished contact with me in early January (2022). He had major problems with phone failures and computer failures. Brother Childers had the information needed to transfer the domain away from his current provider. We transferred the domain out, and the new website went live.  I was able to get all of Brother Joseph’s old emails going back to 2013 moved over to the new account. I spent time with him on the phone and showed him how to update the website. We both worked to put up all of their prayer letters on the new website.
  • Brother Joseph Childers wanted to put up a website for their church, Lifeline Baptist Church in Grenada, including information on their Christian school Lifeline Baptist Christian Academy. Pastor Childers tells me that only two churches in Grenada currently have a web presence, although the island is starting to develop wider internet access. Brother Joseph decided on the domain lbcgrenada.com. I registered the domain and installed WordPress, and set up a basic website. He became proficient very quickly while working on his missionary website and was able to finish adding content to the church/school website.

Bible Correspondence Courses: We want to thank Katherine Feguer, Lydia Henrici, Rebecca Fitzsimmons, Lorraine Meier, J.L. & Florence Smith for helping with the Bible Correspondence courses over the last quarter.

  • 4th Quarter Stats:  Lessons: 912, Certificates: 37, Students: 112, of which 16 are prisoners
  • 2021 Stats: Lessons: 3464, Certificates: 103. We saw 2 people make salvation decisions. We had students in  USA, Canada, England, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Liberia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Philippines, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Tongo, Trinidad, and Zambia

Here are some comments we received from people that are taking the correspondence courses:

  • From a prisoner in AR “ I thoroughly enjoy this course and am learning so much from it. I thank you and I appreciate the time and the effort that it takes to make a Bible study such as this possible!”

This is from a prisoner in TX… Thank you for the Christmas card. May God continue to bless each and every one of you and your family and church. Please know that your efforts in building my spiritual abilities are not effortless. I truly enjoy studying God’s Word and I truly enjoy the results from it. Also know nothing comes easy and I battle every day for the glory of God. God knows my weaknesses and I am daily reminding God of those. Truly God hears and answers those who call His name, those who humble themselves and realize that their own efforts are effortless. But your love and spiritual input, through these lessons are key to my spiritual growth, so I personally thank Bob and Maureen and all the personnel  at FamilyNet International. God bless.
