This essay originally ran in The Christian Post. This past Tuesday was the one-hundredth anniversary of the birth of legendary ABC Radio newsman Paul Harvey. Known for his homespun and perceptive commentaries, Mr. Harvey used to say that “In times like these, it’s important to remember there have always been times like these.” He was right.Wednesday’s anonymously authored New York Times Op-Ed featuring a supposed “senior-member” of the Trump administration decrying internal dysfunction set off an avalanche of criticism, and rightly so.The post Fake News Is Really Old News appeared first on Jim Daly.
Including Bible time in home is important. We love to read Bible stories before bed or as part of our daily reading. And finding a Bible that engages the kids is important. It’s a blessing […]The post The Heart of a Homeschool Mom appeared first on Hip Homeschool Moms.

My son Troy's love language is physical touch. When he was younger, he was the first one to run into my arms when I got home each night. Even now as a teenager, he loves when I give him a big bear hug.My older son, Trent, is more introverted and cerebral. I've asked him if he's okay with hugs, and he says yes, but sometimes he stands so rigid he's like hugging a pole. I have to remind him to use his arms. The post The Five Love Languages of Teenagers appeared first on Jim Daly.
